The Regional Social and Economic Trends is an annual publication prepared by the Regional Statistical Services Office X of the Philippine Statistics Authority.
In its commitment to widely disseminate and communicate statistical information generated by the Philippine Statistical System, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), through its Regional Statistical Services Offices (RSSOs), continues to update and publish local level statistics designed to address the varied statistical needs of planners and policy makers at the local level. The Regional Social and Economic Trends (RSET) for Northern Mindanao, now on its 8th edition, has proven to be useful for planning and decision-making and for setting policies towards effective governance and improved service delivery at the local level.
The RSET, a compendium of local level statistics, presents annual time series data on various sectors of the region and its component provinces, cities, and municipalities. It also contains data that are disaggregated in different dimensions and includes a glossary of terms of official concepts and definitions for statistical purposes.
The 2018 RSET also includes a summary table of the Core Regional Indicators (Core-Is) available in this publication. The Core-Is consist of priority indicators vital to the monitoring of progress in achieving the development goals and targets in the region.
We sincerely acknowledge the unwavering support and cooperation of all our partner agencies and data sources for making the 2018 RSET possible. We likewise appreciate the support of our clients who continue to patronize and recognize this publication as an important tool for evidence-based decision making. Further, we enjoin both our data sources and users to share their comments and suggestions to guide us in improving our statistical products and services, future editions of the RSET, and other publications of the PSA.
The 2018 RSET is also available in electronic format (PDF) in CDROM.
