The Philippine Statistics Authority 10 has successfully registered 3.8 million Filipino citizens in Northern Mindanao for Step 2 Registration from June 2021 up to the first Quarter of 2023. It also successfully printed and issued over 2.2 million ePhilID while Philpost distributed 799,880 PhilID in the region.
Of the 3.8 million registered Filipino citizens in the region, the province of Misamis Oriental recorded the highest number of registrants (1,467,170) among the five provinces in the region. The province of Bukidnon recorded the second highest number of registrants with 1,221,781 followed by the provinces of Lanao del Norte (593,841), Misamis Occidental (453,408) and Camiguin (71,128).
