Bukidnon

The headline inflation in the Province of Bukidnon for November 2022 is at 7.0 percent, the same rate in October 2022. The Inflation rate posted in October 2021 was lower at 4.4 percent. For January to November 2022, the average inflation of the province is at 5.6 percent.

The commodity group Restaurants and Accommodation Services was observed to have the highest increment in November 2022 at 6.3 percent from 3.4 percent in October 2022. Other commodity groups with higher inflation were Food and Non-alcoholic Beverages, from 7.4 percent to 8.0 percent, Health at 1.0 percent from 0.9 percent, Recreation, Sport and Culture at 1.3 percent from 1.1 percent.

The acceleration in Restaurants and Accommodation Services was influenced by the subgroup Food and Beverage Serving Services, 6.6 percent.

The subgroups that contributed to the higher inflation for the commodity group Food and Non-alcoholic Beverages were Sugar, Confectionery and Desserts at 34.9 percent, Meat and Other Parts of Slaughtered Land Animals at 13.6 percent, Corn at 11.3 percent, Fish and other Seafood at 10.5 percent and Milk, other Dairy Products and Eggs, 9.8 percent.

Commodity Groups that showed lower inflation:

a. Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco,3.3 percent

b. Clothing and Footwear, 0.3 percent

c. Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other fuels, 10.0

d. Furnishing, Household Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance, 1.9

e. Transport, 9.4

f. Personal Care and Miscellaneous Goods, 1.6 percent

Other commodity groups that showed constant inflation:

a. Information and Communication, 0.0 percent

b. Financial Services, 0.0

c. Education Services, 0.7 percent
