Agriculture, forestry, and fishing Propels Bukidnon's 3.8 Percent Economic Growth in 2023

Among the 16 industries, the fastest growth was seen in Public administration and defense; compulsory social security which grew by 15.2 percent. This was followed by Accommodation and food service activities with 13.6 percent growth and Financial and insurance activities with 12.0 percent growth. In contrast, Manufacturing and Mining and quarrying industries recorded declines of 7.4 percent and 2.8 percent, respectively. (Figure 1)

In Northern Mindanao, Bukidnon ranked as the second largest economy, accounting for 26.2 percent of the Gross Regional Domestic Product in 2023. (Figure 2)
