The Philippine Statistics Authority – Misamis Oriental Provincial Statistical Office is in need of STATISTICAL RESEARCHERS for the July 2023 Labor Force Survey (LFS) and 2023 Family Income & Expenditure Survey (FIES) First Visit.

Position Title : Statistical Researchers

Employment Status : Contract of Service Worker (COSW)

Contract Duration : July 01 to August 31, 2023

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Eligibility : None Required

Education : Preferably a college graduate

Training : None Required

Experience : None Required

Competencies :

1. Preferably with experience in PSA Household-based Surveys (LFS,HSDV,FLEMMS and others);
2. Physically fit to do field work (if female,must not be Pregnant);
3. Knowledgeable in operating android devices (tablets) And adept in using mobile applications;
4. With good written and oral communication skills and Mathematical calculation skills;

Others :

1. With the ability to deal with the public tactfully;
2. With Good Moral Character;
3. Willing to work on weekends,holidays, and beyond 5:00 pm, if necessary;
4. With no existing work contract with other offices/agencies.
5. Able to speak the local dialect;
6. Does not have any pending case or related issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Physically locate the sample housing unit and interview adult household member using the Computer Aide Data Collection System (CADACS);
2. Administer the ISH Form 2 Questionnaire using CADACS to be accomplished by each eligible respondent for each sample household assigned and plot GPS every sample household ; and
3. Review accomplished questionnaires for completeness, consistency and correctness.
