15 March 2024, Panaon, Misamis Occidental - LGU Panaon took a significant step forward in its development journey as it received the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring
System (CBMS) data in a ceremony held on14 March 2024 at SB Session Hall, Panaon, Misamis Occidental.

The CBMS data turnover ceremony marked an important milestone for LGU Panaon, signifying the beginning of a new phase of evidence-based decision-making and community development.

The CBMS is a comprehensive information-gathering system that provides valuable insights into the socio-economic conditions of households within a community. By receiving this data, LGU Panaon gains access to a wealth of information crucial for designing and implementing targeted programs and initiatives.

During the ceremony, PSA – Misamis Occidental headed by OIC-SSS Julieta M. Nacario, officially handed over the 2022 CBMS data to LGU Panaon. This exchange symbolized the collaborative effort in empowering the municipality with the necessary tools for effective governance.

The Local Governemnt Unit of Panaon expressed its appreciation for the support and cooperation of all parties involved in the CBMS. They highlighted the importance of harnessing data to address the unique needs and challenges faced by the community.
