On February 19, 2024, HERMAN JAY B. MAGSALAY III, the designated PhilSys focal person, and MARK ANGELOU ALFORQUE, an Information Systems Analyst-I, were joined by representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Provincial Link, CAT, and MAT. Together, they spearheaded the PhilSys Registration and Authentication for beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) at the Senior Citizen Building in Tudela, Misamis Occidental.

The DSWD issued a memorandum emphasizing the enrollment of DSWD beneficiaries, particularly those from 4Ps households and their children, into the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). This directive aims to facilitate the more efficient, targeted, and fair distribution of social protection program services.

24 February 2024 DSWD 4Ps Beneficiaries Registration and Authentication Schedule at Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office – Tudela, Misamis Occidental

The PhilSys Registration Team (PRT) successfully completed Step 2 Registration, including the issuance of printable ePhilIDs and authentication of PhilIDs/printed ePhilIDs. This process additionally enabled the registration of beneficiaries aged 1-4 years old, along with their family members.

To prevent duplicate registrations, the Focal Person, Information Systems Analyst, and Registration Center Supervisors will conduct a brief PhilSys information briefing for 4Ps beneficiaries before the registration begins. The PRT is also responsible for addressing inquiries and addressing concerns related to the PhilSys deployment, including requests for replacement of damaged PhilIDs.
