Malaybalay City, Bukidnon - The Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) in Bukidnon successfully concluded a collaborative caravan on 22 June 2023. The event provided essential services to urban poor communities in Bukidnon, aiming to address the pressing needs focusing on the mobile registration for Philippine Identification System, printing of ePhilID and Civil Registration.
The PhilSys is a groundbreaking initiative that provides a universal identification system for Filipino citizens and resident aliens, enhancing their access to essential government services and opportunities. PSA Bukidnon facilitated the on-site printing of ePhilIDs. These electronic identification cards serve as official documents for various transactions and services. The mobile services provide security papers, such as birth, marriage, and death, ensuring easy access to official documents.
The collaborative efforts showcased their commitment to ensuring equitable access to essential services. The caravan made a significant impact on the lives of individuals in the province.
