Bukidnon
The headline inflation in the Province of Bukidnon for July 2023 is lower at 5.7 percent from 6.5 percent in June 2023. The Inflation rate recorded in July 2022 was higher at 6.0 percent. The average inflation rate from January to July 2023 is at 7.4 percent.
The major contributors to a lower inflation for July 2023 are the commodity groups Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages at 7.1 percent from 7.5 percent; Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco at 11.9 percent from 12.5 percent; and Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels at 9.2 percent from 10.8 percent.
The Selected Food Items that showed lower inflation were Corn at 3.5 percent; Meat and Other Parts of Slaughtered Land Animals at 1.1 percent; Fruits and Nuts 0.0 percent; Sugar, Confectionary and Desserts at 33.8 percent; and Fish and other Seafoods, 8.0 percent.
Other food items that recorded a higher inflation were Vegetables, Tubers, Plantains, Cooking Bananas and Pulses, 16.9; Rice, 2.8 percent; Flour, Bread and Other Bakery Products, Pasta Products, and Other cereals, 9.6 percent and Milk, Other Dairy Products and Eggs, 14.6 percent

b. Furnishing, Household Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance, 1.6 percent
c. Information and Communication, 2.1 percent
d. Education Services, 0.8 percent
e. Restaurants and Accommodation Services, 8.8 percent
