21 May 2024, Ozamiz City – In stride towards improving local governance and community development, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) of Misamis Occidental successfully conducted the turnover ceremony for the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Don Victoriano Chiongbian. This event represents a key milestone in the municipality's continuous efforts to utilize accurate and comprehensive data for informed decision-making and policy formulation.

The CBMS, a vital tool for collecting detailed socio-economic data at the grassroots level, serves as an essential resource for LGUs to address local issues effectively and promote sustainable development. The turnover ceremony was a testament to the collaborative efforts between the PSA and the LGU, aiming to improve the quality of life for all residents through data-driven governance.

The CBMS data turnover ceremony signifies more than just sharing information—it's a commitment to using knowledge for the benefit of society. As Calamba strides toward progress, the collaborative effort showcased today lays a solid groundwork for development that is inclusive and sustainable.
