03 July 2024, Ozamiz City – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Misamis Occidental proudly announces the successful turnover of the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) data to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Clarin. The ceremonial turnover event was held at the New Municipal Hall in Clarin, Misamis Occidental on June 27, 2024, signifying a crucial step towards data-driven local governance.

The turnover ceremony underscored the collaborative efforts between the national and local governments in harnessing data for informed decision-making and effective community development. PSA Misamis Occidental OIC, Julieta M. Nacario, highlighted the importance of accurate and timely data in policy formulation and program development that caters to the community's specific needs.

The PSA's transfer of CBMS data to LGU Clarin highlights the government's commitment to fostering transparency, accountability, and community empowerment.
