The City of Cagayan de Oro, and the provinces of Bukidnon and Misamis Oriental are the main contributors to the economy of Region X based on the three-year average share of provincial GDP to the regional economy for the period 2018-2020. The City of Cagayan de Oro shares 27.1 percent, closely followed by Bukidnon with a share of 26.2 percent, and Misamis Oriental with a share of 17.6 percent.
Bukidnon is the top contributor inAgriculture, Forestry, and Fishing with a three-year average share of 64.1 percent. Meanwhile, Misamis Oriental shares the largest chunk in the region`s Industry by 28.7 percent. The City of Cagayan de Orohas the largest share in the region`s Services with a three-year average share of 37.9 percent.
