The Philippine Statistics Authority - RSSO 10 Officer-in-Charge Dr. Janith C. Aves, Chief Statistical Specialist of PSA Provincial Office of Misamis Oriental Maria Liza M. Bigornia and Registration Officer II Nelson Mendoza joined the Mass Civil Wedding activity initiated by Gingoog City Mayor Erick G. Cañosa on 14 February 2023 at Gingoog City Comprehensive National High School Covered Court, Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental.
This is an annual celebration of Celebrate Unity Administration. Mayor Erick Cañosa officiated the civil wedding of the ninety-two (92) couples.
PSA RSSO 10 OIC Aves delivered an inspirational message with gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Gingoog City for inviting PSA RSSO 10 to the said event. She emphasized the importance of checking all information in the Certificate of Marriage before signing the document. She also reminded the couples to register the Certificate of Live Birth of their children as this is a vital document considered as a passport of opportunity in life. OIC Aves ended her message by congratulating the couples, and the LGU of Gingoog City for organizing the activity.
