Table A

The total production of selected major fruit crops registered at 1.887 million MT and shows a 1.8 percent decrease from 1.921 million MT production in the same period of 2019. Vegetables and root crops recorded a production of 0.299million MT, equivalent to 6.4 percent increase from 0.281 million MT production posted in the same semester of 2019.

Also, production of non-food and industrial crops in the region reached 1.369 million MT, a decrease of 8.5 percent from 1.496 million MT production in the same period of 2019. Among the three crop groups, fruit crops dominate with 53.1 percent share to total production, followed by non-food and industrial crops at 38.5 percent.
