Due to the numerous complaints regarding the non-acceptance of the PhilID Card as a valid proof of identity, Philippine Statistics Authority Regional Statistical Services Office 10 will conduct a virtual briefing relative to Executive Order No. 162 series of 2022, entitled “INSTITUTIONALIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE PHILIPPINE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM NUMBER AS SUFFICIENT PROOF OF IDENTITY AND AGE IN ALL GOVERNMENT AND PRIVATE TRANSACTIONS” to all Local Government Units (LGUs) and government agencies with frontline services in region 10 on 25 July 2022 via Zoom.
This briefing will discuss the Security Features of PhilID Card, Manual Verification of the PhilID Card, and the Verification of PhilID Card through that will help all Local Government Units (LGUs) and government agencies with frontline services verify the authenticity of the PhilID Card presented by the PhilID Card holder. The briefing will also give updates on the PhilSys Step 2 Registration in Region 10.
