In line with the celebration of the 32nd National Statistics Month in October, the Regional Statistics Committee-X (RSC-X) has lined up several regional contests to promote and to instill awareness of the importance and value of statistics in the society.
These various NSM contests are as follows:
The RSC-X is enjoining the stakeholders within Region X to actively support and take part in the celebration of the 32nd NSM.
The annual celebration of the National Statistics Month is pursuant to Proclamation No. 647, s. 1990, Declaring the Month of October of Every Year as the National Statistics Month. This year`s celebration has the theme “NSM@32: Revving up for Economic and Social Recovery Through Evidence-Based Policies”. The 32nd NSM theme is inspired by the “Recharge PH” Program of the government which rallies all sectors of the economy and all the Filipino people to adopt a “whole of society approach” to unite and contribute towards economic recovery. The 32nd NSM celebration highlights the importance of statistics as bases for sound policy decisions to address the socioeconomic impact of COVID19.
